Minimax Water Softeners - Excellent Water Efficiency

Traditional single-cylinder water softeners use 70–120 litres of water on a typical regeneration (this is when the softener is flushing itself of all the chalk deposits it has accumulated).

The Kinetico Premier and Aqua-Blu use 24–26 litres of water (they publish less – 21L – but this is because they don't include the backwash which is needed in American water softeners, and so by excluding that water used, it brings the water usage closer to the Minimax M3. But the total amount they flush is closer to 24–26L).

The Minimax M3 uses just 17.1 litres of water. It is incredibly accurate with this amount as it has a highly accurate displacement metering fitted.
